People from across the state will gather in Salem to rally and to talk to legislators about the civil liberties issues that matter to you!
Some of the issues we are working on this legislative session include:
- Drug defelonization,
- Preventing profiling by law enforcement,
- Ending the use of solitary confinement for youth,
- the Reproductive Health Equity Act,
- the Right to Rest Act,
- and more.
You will receive training on how to talk to your legislator effectively, join a group of community members to meet your legislator, and participate in an inspiring rally.

9 a.m. – 11 a.m. -- Lobby Day Training, Smith Auditorium, Willamette University
Learn how to effectively talk to your legislators, learn about the bills, and work in small groups to prepare for your legislator meetings.
11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Box lunches available - Montag Center, Willamette University
11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Legislator meetings; Floor session (optional) -- Capitol Building,

1:15 p.m. – 2 p.m. District Attorney Project training (optional) -- Montag Center, Willamette University
District attorneys are elected officials and they have an important role in addressing mass criminalization, over incarceration, as well as the severe racial disparity in the criminal justice system. This training will explore grassroots mobilization around district attorneys in Oregon.
