Allie Ball is a part time intern for the ACLU of Oregon. During Allie’s time as an intern she will be working closely with the communications team and collaborating with them on numerous projects. Allie is hoping that with these projects she can help students find their voice when it comes to knowing their rights. Living as a young African American woman in a predominantly white area has prompted Allie to speak out and fight against inequality in her community and her school.
Her passion for these things have led her to her future aspirations of majoring in political science and minoring in global justice, law, or public policy. In moments of rest and rejuvenation, Allie loves to try new things, mainly food related. She also loves playing competitive or recreational sports. When she isn’t out and about she loves to pick up a good book or binge watch a TV show.
