At the ACLU of Oregon, Jessica Lynn works collaboratively to develop and implement a strategy for advancing an affirmative civil rights and civil liberties agenda as well as engage in defensive battles on behalf of vulnerable Oregonians. She is a proud cum laude graduate of Howard University School of Law. Her journey through Howard Law cemented her desire to embody “Houstonian Principles” and use the law to effect systemic change.
She considers it a privilege to stand on the shoulders of fellow Howard alumni and civil rights giants Pauli Murray and Thurgood Marshall. In moments of rest and rejuvenation you can find Jessica Lynn taking a walk to the top of Mt. Tabor, facetiming with her family back on the east coast, spending hours getting lost in a book, and stuffing her face at one of Portland’s numerous food cart pods.
