Community Centric Fundraising

Join the ACLU of Oregon community and invest in the movement to build a more just, equitable and caring Oregon. We, as a community and organization, are working to center Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) communities, race equity, and economic and social justice in all that we do, including our approach to fundraising. Inline with this, we are embracing the principles of Community Centric Fundraising. We value the engagement of all our community partners, donors, volunteers, ACLU members, staff and supporters, in the collective work of protecting our civil rights and liberties.

It is an exciting time at the ACLU of Oregon: we are envisioning our organization with values and approaches to center Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC), low-income, and other historically-disenfranchised communities and voices, transforming our fundraising so that it is centered and based in community, strengthening our legal and advocacy endeavors with a focus on integrated and community-based advocacy, and amplifying public engagement and support for our work to fight threats to freedom head on — and win.

We look forward to deepening relationships with our community and supporters throughout Oregon as we work together in the fight for justice.
