ACLU of Oregon We the People Conference

June 23, 2018 @ 8:30 am 4:30 pm

The 2018 ACLU of Oregon We The People conference will bring together hundreds of ACLU members and supporters from across state for an entire day of workshops, networking, and community building. This year’s conference, the first statewide gathering of civil rights advocates we’ve hosted in years, will revolve around skill development, issue analysis, and building advocacy strategies. During this particularly tumultuous time, and as Oregon gears up to fight IP 22, we are prioritizing lifting up immigration and immigrant rights issues and many other important fights. This will be a great place for anyone looking to meet other activists, gain knowledge and practical skills on civil rights and civil liberties issues, and plug into the work of the ACLU of Oregon.
