As the ACLU celebrates its centennial this year, take a look back at the early days of the Oregon affiliate with our founder, Paul Meyer.

After serving in World War II and graduating from Yale Law School, Meyer helped established the ACLU of Oregon in the 1950s. Meyer, now 94, spent decades fighting for civil rights and civil liberties in Oregon.
